It is important that you use the correct amount of heaters for your pond. This pond heater is suitable for pond sizes up to 25 sq ft (2.3 sq m) in surface area. If your pond is larger than this then you can use multiple heaters depending on the size of your pond.
Two heaters is suitable for pond sizes up to 60 sq ft (5.6 sq m), three in ponds up to 100 sq ft (9.29 sq m) and four in ponds larger than this.
