The Oase Biotec 30 heavy duty filter takes the quality of the Biotec range and adds many extra features to create a superb filter. The Biotec 30 multi zone filtration includes one row of large brushes, which are sloped to encourage settlement of waste in the base. The water then passes through 5 upright woven mat screens of different pore size, after which the very fine waste is filtered by 7 cartridge filters which are twice the size of the Biotec 10.1 cartridge. The filter has a 50mm drain (valve supplied) below the brush chamber and a small drain valve near the outlet. With the inlet at the top and the outlet near the middle, the filter can be partially buried (provided access to the drain valves is possible) enabling the large tank to be partially hidden. Duraplastic handles on the brushes and grids allow them to be easily removed for cleaning. The tank is of a strong fibreglass construction.
The Bitron C range of UV's are the result of many years of intensive research, which have culminated in this state of the art design. These ultra violet clarifiers are supplied with one inlet and two outlets. Both outlets have regulator values and by adjusting these you can control the amount of water which passes over the light. Secondly a continuously spinning cleaning device, which is powered using the water flow, ensures that no build up, even silt, starts on the quartz sleeve. Each model has an integrated indicator light or window allowing you to quickly see if the bulb is working.
