Minipond 4500 and 6000
Small but effective box filters with three stages of filtration,ideal for the smaller goldfish ponds and with three stages of filtration. The water enters the unit through the Ultra Violet light, which flocculates(clumps together) the green water algae. It exits the ultra violet chamber through a spray bar which aerates the water whilst spraying the water on to the foam sponges. These three layers of foam then remove the dirty particles in the water, including the green water algae. Having passed through the foam sponges the water travels through an area filled with professional ceramic biological media which supports a large population of friendly bacteria, which break down the fishes liquid waste. After this the water travels through under the bottom of a vertical baffle plat and flows up and through a fine replaceable polymer wool pad and replaceable carbon impregnated foam. The polymer wool pad polishes the water quickly removing particles which create cloudy water whilst the carbon impregnated foam removes chemical polutants for sparkling water. Finally the water exits from the tank about half way up the tank through a 40mm hose connector. With the exit half way up the tank the filter can be partially buried reducing the visual impact.

Minipond 10000 and 14000
The big brother of the 4500 and 6000, these two filters have several key additional features. The first is the replacement of the spray bar with a venturi aeration chamber. This chamber allows for longer water and oxygen contact and for a faster flowrate. The next feature is the installation of a .Hydroscreen Stainless Steel Prefilter. which catches larger waste and debris. This is much easier to clean than the foam sponges and means the foams do not get blocked with large particles. The last feature is the four outlet hose connections allowing a faster flow rate and the water to be taken back to different location in the pond which can aid the circulation pattern in the pond.

Replacement Polymer wool pads and carbon impregnated pads. The 2 pack has one of each type and the six pack has 3 of each type.

We offer 6 different sizes of hose to suit all the products we sell. The corrugation of the hose contains a strengthener, which enables the hose to be flexible and strong but will not kink in most pond installations. The hose is black for easy concealment and to discourage growth of algae on the inside, which can, long term, lead to a reduction in the hose diameter and thus affect the pumps performance.

The Zinc plated hose clips come with a foam strip to ensure maximum grip to the exterior of the corrugated hose, thus avoiding annoying drips. They have wing tighteners for easy tool free adjustment. Five sizes to suit the hose.

A.B.S. should be used to mature all new pond filters. Its unique action ensures rapid growth of Nitrifying bacteria but also discourages the formation of Heterotrophic bacteria.
