The VORTON UVC (Ultra Violet Light) from Hozelock Cyprio combines the efficiency of the previous design with several new key features.

The Vorton Ultra Violet 4500, 9 , 11 and 1400 Light have a in built Tabulator which increases the units efficiency by even exposure of the water to the UV light. They also include multi-directional inlet and outlet which enables the rotation of the hose connections through 360 deg, making it much easier to route the hose to and from the unit.

The range has now been extended to include the newly designed high output 18w, 36w and 55w models, to help ensure the efficient elimination of green water algae particles.

All Hozelock Vortons include electrical housings which have a bayonet fitting and domed quartz sleeves which make cleaning the quartz simple and easy.

The Hozelock Vorton are IP65 rated making them weather proof and are supplied with a 3 year guarantee and 5 m of cable.

What is Effective Volume ?
The effective volume is the quantity of water in your pond, plus an allowance for shallow and or ponds exposed to high levels of sunlight. Both of these situations will result in a higher than normal algae growth, and fish pollution. We advise that to ensure your that your equipment is correctly sized, the effective volume be considered the minimum size for the equipment you select. However do remember to check the details of the product you are interested in, to ensure that there are no other allowances or consideration specific to that product are required.
