Oase Biosmart - Combined Pond Filter (OAC7O1) | | | The OASE BioSmart combined pond filters are an introductory package from Oase, combining the Ultra Violet and Filter in one simple system. The OASE BioSmart filter sets ensure clear and healthy pond water thanks to the combination of a large filter foam surface (Biotec) and integrated UVC technology (Bitron). The BioSmart’s incorporate a built in Ultra Violet which utilises an efficient PLS ultra Violet bulb. The BioSmart filter consists of foam cartridges suspended from a plate. To clean them simply pull the handle which compress the foam against the plate squeezing out the waste. This waste and the remaining water is then run to waste via the integrated sludge drain (24000 only). The outlet is half way up the tank allowing partial burial, if required (Sludge drain is at the bottom of the tank and must be accessible for cleaning). The filter is supplied with an integrated pollutant level indicator,which signals the right time for cleaning, a thermometer and 3m of cable (for the integrated UVC). | The Biosmart Combined Pond Filters are suitable for different pond volumes when being used with various pump sizes. The following table gives the maximum recommended pond size with a range of pumps (please remember that the pumps are NOT included within the price.
