This filter takes the quality of the Biotec range of pond filters and adds many extra features to create a superb filter. The Biotec 30 includes 2 rows of large brushes, which are sloped to encourage settlement of waste in the base. The water then passes through the biotecs, 5 upright woven mat screens of different pore size, after which the very fine waste is filtered by 7 cartridge filters which are twice the size of the Biotec 10 cartridge. The Biotec pond filter has a 50mm drain (valve supplied) below the brush chamber and a small drain valve near the outlet. With the inlet at the top and the outlet near the middle the filter can be partially buried (provided access the to valves is possible) enabling the large tank to be partially hidden. A very impressive filter.

We offer 6 different sizes of hose to suit all the products we sell. The corrugation of the hose contains a strengthener, which enables the hose to be flexible and strong but will not kink in most pond installations. The hose is black for easy concealment and to discourage growth of algae on the inside, which can, long term, lead to a reduction in the hose diameter and thus affect the pumps performance.

The Zinc plated hose clips come with a foam strip to ensure maximum grip to the exterior of the corrugated hose, thus avoiding annoying drips. They have wing tighteners for easy tool free adjustment. Five sizes to suit the hose.
