Free Oase Swimskim 50 CWS - worth: £154.99

These pumps offer large flowrates combined with high lifting capacity. Ideal for large waterfall and stream set ups, where other pumps can not produce the required flow. The strainer and impeller allow particles of up to 8mm size through, reducing blocking and maintenance. Side outlet avoids any unsightly arches of hose coming out of the water. The pump is fully capable of over wintering even if the pond completely freezes over. All come with 10m of cable and a 50mm connection size. The pump is covered by a three year warranty, which can be extended to 5 years upon request to Oase. All Profimax pumps can be installed in a submerged or dry location.

Oasis Pond Gloves

The SwimSkim 25 enables the quick and easy removal of floating debris from the pond surface. The three float chambers suspend the pump at water surface level and because it floats, it automatically adjusts to changes in water level. The water is sucked down through the strainer by the 2500 litre per hour pump (550 gph) in the Swimskim 25 and pushes water out through the built-in oxygenator, aerating the water as it works. The strainer will collect large debris such as leaves, but also includes a fine sponge filter to catch finer waste. The SwimSkim 25 is designed for ponds up to 25m Sq (e.g. a pond 5m x 5m). The 40w motors are supplied with 10m of cable and have a 2 year guarantee.

The strainer will collect large debris such as leaves, but also includes a fine sponge filter to catch finer waste. The SwimSkim 50 is designed for ponds up to 50m Sq2 (e.g. a pond 6.5m x 7.5m). The 45w motors are supplied with 10m of cable and have a 2 year guarantee, this can be extended by a further year by sending off the guarantee card to Oase.

What is Effective Volume ?
The effective volume is the quantity of water in your pond, plus an allowance for shallow and or ponds exposed to high levels of sunlight. Both of these situations will result in a higher than normal algae growth, and fish pollution. We advise that to ensure your that your equipment is correctly sized, the effective volume be considered the minimum size for the equipment you select. However do remember to check the details of the product you are interested in, to ensure that there are no other allowances or consideration specific to that product are required.
