The Oase Biotec 30 - This Complete Filtration Systems offer a top quality solution for most situations. The three components of the Oase BIOsys Eco Sets are the Oase Aquamax Premium / Aquamax Eco Twin filtration pump, the Oase Bitron Ultra Violet and the Oase Biotec 30 pond filter. The combination of these three items ensure you have the correct matching equipment.

The Oase Biotec 30 heavy duty filter takes the quality of the Biotec range and adds many extra features to create a superb filter. The Biotec 30 multi zone filtration includes one row of large brushes, which are sloped to encourage settlement of waste in the base. The water then passes through 5 upright woven mat screens of different pore size, after which the very fine waste is filtered by 7 cartridge filters which are twice the size of the Biotec 10.1 cartridge. The filter has a 50mm drain (valve supplied) below the brush chamber and a small drain valve near the outlet. With the inlet at the top and the outlet near the middle, the filter can be partially buried (provided access to the drain valves is possible) enabling the large tank to be partially hidden. Duraplastic handles on the brushes and grids allow them to be easily removed for cleaning. The tank is of a strong fibreglass construction.

Oase Bitron C UV's
The Bitron C range of UV's are the result of many years of intensive research, which have culminated in this state of the art design. These ultra violet clarifiers are supplied with one inlet and two outlets. Both outlets have regulator values and by adjusting these you can control the amount of water which passes over the light. This enables the most efficient use of the light giving the best results. The build up of limescale in an ultra violet is well known for substantially reducing the effectiveness of a unit. This problem had been overcome in the Bitron C in two ways. Firstly the permanent magnets reduce the build up limescale in the whole pond system including pumps. Secondly a continuously spinning cleaning device, which is powered using the water flow, ensures that no build up, even silt, starts on the quartz sleeve. Each model has an integrated indicator light or window allowing you to quickly see if the bulb is working. Supplied with a 2 year guarantee, hose clips and a blanking cap if the two outlets are not required.

Top Quality Oase Aquamax Eco Twin Filter Pumps
The Oase Aquamax Eco Twin is a fully redesigned evolution of the top selling Oase Promax and extends it's high reliability and performance. Now the "Twin" version of this pump raises the bar even higher. The Oase Aquamax Eco Twin is even more energy efficient than the Oase Promax and features much lower power consumption's, making a major reduction to it’s running costs. In addition, you have the option of using the secondary inlet connection to run an optional remote strainer (OAA501) or skimmer (OAA102), both of which can improve the circulation within your pond and reduce the likelihood of 'dead' areas and silt build up. Unlike most other pumps, they feature a twin motor design and have full remote control functionality. The external control box includes a LCD display to indicate the current power level of each of the two motors. These motors can be independently switched on/off or have their flow rates increased or decreased using the wireless remote control. Both pumps feature Oases' unique "EFC Function" (Environmental Function Control), which automatically switches the pump off to prevent damage, when it senses dry running. At the other extreme, they feature a frost protection system to prevent damage to the pumps in water at as low as -20°C. In addition a secondary inlet connection hosetail is supplied for 25, 32 and 38mm flexible pipe work. The pumps are covered by a 3 year guarantee, which can be extended to 5 years free of charge, simply by sending the warranty card off to Oase.

Proven technology redesigned. The unique feature of the Promax range is the two separate motor units. This allows you to adjust or stop the flow at each motor via the infra-red remote control that is supplied with the pump. The powerful asynchronous twin motors are enclosed by a robust plastic housing. The special impeller’s feed large volumes of water without the need for high pressure. Therefore, they are suitable for use as a filter or waterfall pump. They are supplied with a 3 year guarantee, which can be extended free to a 5 year warranty simply by sending the guarantee card off to Oase. All come with 10m of cable.

What is Effective Volume ?
The effective volume is the quantity of water in your pond, plus an allowance for shallow and or ponds exposed to high levels of sunlight. Both of these situations will result in a higher than normal algae growth, and fish pollution. We advise that to ensure your that your equipment is correctly sized, the effective volume be considered the minimum size for the equipment you select. However do remember to check the details of the product you are interested in, to ensure that there are no other allowances or consideration specific to that product are required.
