When installed in this way the galvanised steel grid can support a water feature of up to 200 Kg. These kits also feature an inset access cover which allows you to remove and clean your water pump without having to disturb your feature. The grid size is 5.5cm square and perfect for large cobbles and fast drainage. If you would like to use smaller aggregate material like gravel or granite chippings, a non-rotting water permeable material like underlay or greenhouse netting will have to be placed over the grid to stop it falling through.
