THE TRICK: THE TWO-CHAMBER SYSTEM
The Oase Pondovac 3 pond vacuum has two identically sized cylinders which are filled and emptied in alternating cycles. If one container is full then a valve is mechanically activated by a float. This triggers emptying of one and at the same time allows the other cylinder to be filled. This is how both vacuuming and emptying of the container can occur at the same time!

Oase Pondovac Start Pond Vacuum is purpose designed pond sludge vacuum cleaner, which can remove loose particles of dirt up to 10mm in size, algae, string algae, sludge, dead vegetation and bits of leaves from the pond by way of suction. Many peoples concerns when using a pond vacuum, is that the water sucked up has to go to waste. The Collector can help solve this problem. The water from your vacuum can be rooted into the Collector, where particles larger than 2mm will be filtered leaving water and any smaller waste to be recirculated into your pond. The Collector will not filter fine silt and sediment. Once used it can collapse flat so that it can be stored easily in a compact space.

Please Note:
Some vacuums empty using gravity (ie. Pondovac 3 and Pondomatic) and as such will need to be lifted higher than the Collector in order to work.
