Water Quality - Ammonia Remover from Blagdon is a fast acting pond treatment which is designed to remove Ammonia and Chloramines from pond water. This product can be particularly useful in new ponds or when a filter is replaced or its bacterial colony has been damaged. The long term control of Ammonia should be achieved by developing a large culture of beneficial bacteria in your filter and pond, however while this happens, it is essential to ensure that Ammonia which is the purest (and most dangerous) form of chemical fish waste is kept at a safe level.
Blagdon - Water Quality - Ammonia Remover is suitable for use in all ponds, is safe for use with all species of pond fish and harmless to filters and plants and water using wildlife.

Water Quality - Ammonia Remover - Dosing Advice
After identifying a high Ammonia level with a pond water test kit, add 25ml of Ammonia Remover for every 227 litres (50 gallons) of pond water. When dosing we suggest mixing the required amount in to a bucket of pond water and then even distributing the treatment around the pond. After 2 hours, re-test the pond water and if the Ammonia levels are still to high repeat the dosing process.
We recommend regular water quality testing and the addition of bacterial additives until the bacterial colony is fully developed and the Ammonia and Nitrite levels are stabilised.
