This section deals with having your goods delivered, the charges and how to return them if they are damaged in any way.
Please note that our carriers define the Scottish Highlands and Islands postcodes as follows:

EU Sales
We are very sorry but due to the uncertainty of the costs and procedures required to send products to European countries after the end of the Brexit transition period, we have decided to stop all export orders. We hope that we will be able to resume exporting in the future.
Special Notes
*These carriage charges will cover the vast majority of items within our website; however, for orders containing heavy or large items, we may need to apply an additional charge. In this situation we will ALWAYS advise you of any additional charge BEFORE it is made.
Where we offer a Next Day delivery service, these orders must be placed on a weekday before 2pm and will be delivered on the following weekday.
The above Jersey and Guernsey delivery charges do not include VAT, and that sales to Jersey and Guernsey are VAT free
Please note that we do not dispatch goods at the weekend or on bank holidays and that our carriers do not deliver on bank holidays.
How long does delivery take?
We make every effort to process your orders as quickly as possible. Our Standard delivery will reach you within 5 working days of receipt of your order, whereas our Next Day service should arrive on the Next Working day (Monday to Friday), but your order needs to be placed by 2pm for us to ship it that day. Our carriers will deliver direct to your door anywhere in the UK. Some areas of Scotland, Non mainland UK and Northern Ireland deliveries may take a little longer.

When is my Next Day ordered delivered if I miss the 2pm cut off time?
Your order will be processed and dispatched on the next weekday (excluding bank holidays). So if you order at 4pm on a Friday afternoon, we will process your order and dispatch your goods on the Monday, and they will be delivered on the Tuesday.

What happens if I place a Next Day delivery order at the weekend or on a bank holiday?
Your order will be processed and dispatched on the next weekday (excluding bank holidays). So, for example, if you order on a Sunday, we will process your order and dispatch your goods on the Monday, and they will be delivered on the Tuesday. If you order over a bank holiday weekend, we will process your order and dispatch your goods on the Tuesday for delivery on the Wednesday.

What do I do if there is no one to receive a delivery?
That's ok; if you have not provided an alternative delivery address (a neighbour, for example), the carrier will leave a card with a contact number so you can arrange a new delivery time that suits you.

Can I add delivery instructions?
Yes, we are very happy to add delivery instructions for the carriers to use when delivering your order; however, once left as instructed, we cannot accept claims for products being lost / stolen or damaged on delivery.
Unfortunately we cannot ask carriers to leave pre-formed ponds, palletised items or large value orders without a signature.

What do I do if items are damaged?
Get in touch with our Customer Service Department as soon as possible using our Contact Us Page, email sales@watergardeningdirect.com or telephone 01778 341199 (8.30am - 17.00pm Mon-Fri). We will arrange for a replacement to be dispatched.
