Oase BioSmart 24000 Set - Easy Clean Pond Filter Kit
The OASE BioSmart 24000 filter sets are an introductory package from Oase, combining a Vitronic 24w Ultra Violet Light, an Aquamax Eco Classic 5500 and the BioSmart 36000 filter along with 5m of 38mm (1½”) hose in one simple system. The OASE BioSmart Filter sets ensure clear and healthy pond water thanks to the combination of a large filter foam surface and UVC technology. The Vitronic Ultra Violet, utilises a highly efficient PLS Ultra Violet bulb and bolts on to the end of the Biosmart filter. The filter consists of foam cartridges suspended from a plate. To clean them simply pull the handles which compress the foam against the plate, squeezing out the waste. This waste and the remaining water is then run to waste via the integrated sludge outlet, which in the 24000 kits is controlled through an internal valve lever. The filter outlet is halfway up the tank allowing partial burial if required, although the sludge drain is at the bottom of the tank and must be accessible for cleaning. The BioSmart 24000 kits are supplied with a thermometer, a pollutant level indicator which signals the right time for cleaning and a 3rd type of foam which is ultra fine for an improved bacteria level.
The BioSmart 24000 kits include the AquaMax Eco Classic Pump which is a redesigned evolution of the top selling AquaMax Eco, offering the reliability of the Aquamax range without the extra features. The Oase AquaMax Eco Classics are able to pass particles of up to 8mm whilst maintaining economic power efficiency levels. Supplied with 10m of mains cable they have a 3 year guarantee that can be extended to 5 years if you send off the guarantee card.
