EcoPond - Barley-bio Algae Control

The eco-friendly EcoPond - Barley-bio Algae Control is a treatment to control Blanket Weed and Green Water using high quantities of micro-organisms cultivated on a Barley Straw substrate. This treatment enhances natural water chemistry and helps to starve the algae of the nutrient it needs, leaving pond water clean and clear.

Important Notes

As with all anti algae treatments, please ensure that your pond is kept well oxygenated and that large quantities of decomposing algae are manually removed

• 125 mls per 4,500 litres (1000 gallons) initial dose 
  
• 20 – 40 mls per 4,500 litres weekly thereafter 
  
• Easy to apply – no need to dilute prior to dosing

EcoPond - Barley-bio Algae Control - Large Lake Dosage
For lakes the dosage is 5L per acre per week for 2 weeks, then 1L per week for the rest of the time algae is growing. It is important that it is evenly distributed around the lake.
