The Evolution Aqua Tempest is a compact water polishing filter designed to improve water clarity by removing fine suspended particles. Installed on the pumped side of an existing filtration system, it enhances both mechanical and biological filtration for clearer, healthier pond water.

Water is pumped into the Tempest chamber, where it passes through 7 litres of K+Media. This advanced media provides a large protected surface area for beneficial bacteria while also acting as a mechanical barrier to trap fine debris. As a result, the unit improves both water clarity and biological performance within the filtration system.

The K+Media is manufactured with added minerals and enzymes, helping to accelerate filter maturation and support efficient biological activity. This makes the Tempest particularly useful when upgrading existing systems or improving overall filtration performance.

Maintenance is straightforward, with a cleaning process that can be completed in minutes. By switching off the pump, closing the slide valves, and opening the waste valve, debris can be flushed out quickly without dismantling the unit.

For installations using flexible pipework, optional hosetails and reducing sleeves are required for each connection. For higher flow rates, multiple units can be installed in parallel to maintain effective performance.
