Blanketweed (Thread Algae) loves clear, healthy, free flowing water and it is common for customers with crystal clear ponds to complain about it growing on their waterfall, blade, statues and streams. Unlike many other products Oase Aquactiv Algo Direct works through direct contact with the algae and is ideal for treating localised problems. After application Blanketweed is killed within a few hours and the active ingredient breaks it down into its natural occurring components, which means it can also be used in swim ponds (refer to safety wait time).
As the pH and carbonate hardness are important when using this product, Oase include a pH and KH rapid test to check the pH value is between 6.5 and 8.5 and the carbonate hardness is >5°dKH, this ensures the safe application of this treatment.
Maximum Pond Volume 10,000 litres.
