The Oase BioTec 60000 ScreenMatic 2 - Complete Filtration Systems are complete kits that come with the state of the art BioTec ScreenMatic 2 60000 Pond Filter, Bitron 56C Ultra Violet lights and the Aquamax Eco Premium 1000 Filter Pump. With the introduction of the BioTec ScreenMatic 2 Filters Oase have shown that they are always innovating and improving their pond filters. The Biotec ScreenMatic 2 range now features an improved coarse debris system and electronic control system.

Simple operation, fast, clean maintenance and outstanding filtration are the results. A specially designed sieve catches all debris particles above 300 microns that arrive in the filter. The sieve has been designed as a belt which rotates when dirty via a built-in 12v motor and is scraped clean as it turns. The dirt build up on the screen is monitored by a new sensor system which only operates the 12v motor when needed, thus saving running costs and wear and tear. The waste falls in to an increased capacity tray for disposal. The water which is enriched with oxygen, then falls into the chamber below, flows through the filter zones and then reaches the next filter chamber. The friendly filter bacteria present in the pond water settle and multiply in the oxygen rich sponges. The individual chamber situated just in front of the outlet holds a number of Zeolite filled cartridges which are ideal when starting up the filter. Once established the material inside can be changed to Phosless (not supplied) which will help prevent algae growth in the pond. Each filter is also supplied with a plunger to allow for easy cleaning of the foam cartridges and a brush to aid cleaning of the belt. Once the foams have been squeezed out a valve is pulled and the dirty water drains from the tank. The drain is at the bottom of the BioTec ScreenMatic 2 Filter is 50mm.

Oase Bitron 56C UV
The Bitron C range of UV's are the result of many years of intensive research, which have culminated in this state of the art design. These ultra violet clarifiers are supplied with one inlet and two outlets. Both outlets have regulator values and by adjusting these you can control the amount of water which passes over the light. This enables the most efficient use of the light giving the best results. The build up of limescale in an ultra violet is well known for substantially reducing the effectiveness of a unit. This problem had been overcome in the Bitron C in two ways. Firstly the permanent magnets reduce the build up limescale in the whole pond system including pumps. Secondly a continuously spinning cleaning device, which is powered using the water flow, ensures that no build up, even silt, starts on the quartz sleeve. The Oase AquaMax Eco Premium 5000 - 21000 are the very latest version of Oases' high performance AquaMax Eco range of solid handling pond filter pumps. In 2024 Oase have redesigned the motor for the Aquamax Eco Premiums resulting in a quieter, more energy efficient pumps, saving 14% - 24% of the running costs (depending on the model) which should also help them last longer than their older models (that is saying something). The new motors have what Oase call "Core 6 Technology" which means they have six windings instead of the traditional 4, these windings have also been curved which produces smoother running, adding to their efficiency and also making them quieter. These new Oase AquaMax Eco Premium OC pumps also feature impellers that have been improved and are now effectively handmade with glass-fibre reinforced plastic making them much stronger and allowing them to take solids of up to 11mm in size. All of the new AquaMax Eco Premium OC pumps can now be controlled electronically via the Oase Smart Phone App using the DMX technology which is available in their OC ("Oase Control" system, formerly known as EGC) range of products. Individual pumps can be controlled using an Oase Eco Pump Control or if the pump is part of an installation using other OC products which can be remotely controlled then an twin adapter can be purchased to link other units. All of the AquaMax Eco Premium OC pumps have the option of using the secondary inlet port to run an optional remote strainer or Oase skimmer both of which can improve the circulation within your pond and reduce the likelihood of 'dead' areas and silt build up. All AquaMax Eco Premium pumps are supplied with 10m of mains cable, inlet and outlet hosetails which will accept 25, 32, 38mm and 50mm flexible hosepipe and a 25, 32, 38mm and 50mm hose clip for less resistance in high flowrate / longer pipe runs.
