The PondXpert Floating Pond Protectors provide a discreet solution for helping protect pond fish from herons and other pond predators. Designed to float around the perimeter of the pond, these interlocking protectors create a barrier at the pond edge where herons typically strike, without covering the entire pond surface.
Unlike traditional pond cover nets, the Floating Pond Protectors leave the centre of the pond open and unobstructed, helping maintain the appearance of the pond while still providing an effective physical deterrent. The floating sections sit just below the water surface and can be adapted to suit a wide range of pond shapes and layouts.

The system consists of floating interlocking protector sections which connect together using the supplied clips to form a continuous floating barrier around the pond edge. The protectors are designed to be positioned two sections deep into the pond perimeter for effective coverage.
Because only the pond edge requires protection, the Floating Pond Protectors offer a less intrusive alternative to full pond netting. The modular design also allows the system to be adapted around planting shelves, marginal plants and irregular pond shapes.
The black floating sections are designed to remain relatively discreet in use and can easily be removed or adjusted when pond maintenance is required.
