Ideal for wildlife ponds, the Pontec Pondorell 1500 - Solar Pond Filter is a compact, solar-powered underwater filter which includes a pump, filter material and a UVC unit and is suitable for wildlife ponds up to 1,500 litres (without fish stocks). Being solar powered there is no energy cost and no need for mains powered cable, however, it is supplied with a mains adapter so if it is close enough to power it can be operated even on cloudy days. Powered by a 15w solar panel the pump draws the water through the filter and UV and pushes the water up through the fountain nozzle. The 2 fountain nozzles supplied are a fine Spray Jet and a Bell Jet. The maximum depth for the fountain nozzles when using the extensions is 300mm.
The pump and UV are supplied with 5m of cable which then connects to a 5m joiner and extension cable allowing the panel to be located up to 10m away from the filter location. The Pontec Pondorell 1500 - Solar Pond Filter includes mains power adapter which has a 1.8m cable but does not include a battery unit. Supplied with a 2-year guarantee.
