If you want to add oxygen to a wildlife pond or simply boost the oxygen in your fish pond Pontec PondoSolar 150 Plus Air Pump is an ideal solution - solar powered so no need for a mains connection and with a panel which is located out of the pond. The air pump is built on to the back of the solar panel and can generate up to 80 litres per hour through the single air stone. Along side the air pump is a battery and a switch with 3 settings.

The Pontec PondoSolar 150 Plus Air Pump has 3 modes of operation:

  • Direct Daylight Mode:
    The aerator pump only operates when there is sufficient sunlight. Any surplus power is stored in the rechargeable battery.
  • Charge Only Mode:
    The aerator pump is switched off, the rechargeable battery is charged.
  • Night Running Mode:
    The aerator pump switches on automatically when it is sufficiently dark and is powered by the rechargeable battery. When there is sufficient sunlight the pump is switched off and the rechargeable battery is charged.

The Pontec PondoSolar 150 Plus Air Pump is supplied with 1 air stone, 2m of air pipe, pump/panel, ground spike, wall bracket and a 2 year guarantee.

Please note that the panel needs to be in direct sunlight and as the pump is limited in its output, it should not be used as the only source of oxygen for the fish.
