The Velda T-Flow Tronic 15 (5000L - 15000L) blanket weed remover is a revolutionary system that eliminates fibrous and slime algae from your garden pond in a way that is safe for fish and plants. The core of the T-Flow Tronic blank weed remover consists of an anode, made from a mineral copper alloy developed by Velda, and a stainless steel cathode. By means of the microprocessor controlled display unit, pulses are generated, which are led to the core of the T-Flow Tronic. Through these pulses, positively charged copper ions are released, also known as mineralization. These ions are also referred to as minerals. In a defined concentration, the ions form a natural barrier against algae. The concentration of copper ions to remove fibrous algae and stop the growth lies between 0.2 and 0.3 PPM.
