The Wiska EV101 Pre Filled IP68 Gel Connector is designed for joining electrical cables with an outer diameter of 6-8mm where a waterproof external connection is required. The connector is supplied pre-filled with sealing gel, which moulds around the cable and terminal connection when the housing is closed.

This gel connector provides a simple way to create a sealed waterproof cable joint for outdoor and external electrical installations. Once the cables have been wired into the supplied terminal block, the connection is placed into the centre of the gel-filled housing and the lid is closed.
As the connector closes, the gel is compressed around the cable and terminal block, helping to form a watertight seal around the joint. The supplied screw terminal block can accept up to 3 cables, making the connector suitable for practical cable joining where a compact waterproof enclosure is required.
