Oase BioSmart 18000 Pond Filters

Oase BioSmart 18000 Pond Filters use a combination of three grades of foams  to produce a high level of mechanical and biological filtration. The unique design of the Oase BioSmart 18000 Pond Filters allows a Bitron or Vitronic 24/36 (purchased separately)  to be attach to the side of the tank, not on the lid like many other systems, allowing the whole package to be hidden more effectively.

The filter consists of foam cartridges suspended from a plate. To clean them simply pull the handles which compress the foam against the plate, squeezing out the waste. This waste and the remaining water is then run to waste via the integrated sludge outlet, which in the BioSmart 18000 is controlled through an internal valve lever. The filter outlet is half way up the tank allowing partial burial if required, although the sludge drain is at the bottom of the tank and must be accessible for cleaning. The BioSmart 18000 filters are supplied with a thermometer. In addition the BioSmart 18000 pond filters are supplied with an integrated pollutant level indicator, which signals the right time for cleaning. Supplied with a 3 year guarantee.
