The Oase BioSmart  18000 & 36000 Pond Filters use a combination of three grades of foams to produce a high level of mechanical and biological filtration. The outlet is approximately half way up the tank enabling partial burying to help conceal your filter equipment, although the sludge drain is at the bottom of the tank and must be accessible for cleaning. The unique design of the Oase BioSmart 18000 & 36000 Pond Filters and Oase UV range means a Bitron (not included) can be attached on the outside of the tank, not on the lid like many other systems, allowing the whole package to be hidden more effectively.
