The Oase FiltoClear pressurised pond filters are a highly developed range of pressurised filters which have outstanding filtration properties, are easy to maintain and have been redesigned and updated. The Oase Filtoclears now have an improved and unique, easy to operate built-in cleaning system. Simply remove the discharge cap, connect your waste hose (not supplied), pump the cleaning handle up and down removing all the waste and turn the valve to discharge. The benefit of a pressurised filter is the ability for it to be lower than the discharge point, which in many cases makes it easier to conceal. The Oase Filtoclear pond includes an integral ultra violet light with an indicator window which makes it simple to see at night if the UV bulb is working. The new design release in 2022 offers several improvements on the previous range - Easier to Clean mechanism, higher wattage lamps, no need to remove the quartz sleeve when changing the lamp, metal clamping ring and a hood over the UV electrical unit. The two large models (19000 and 31000) also include the patented UV cleaning rotor to help keep the quartz sleeve clean to maximise their efficiency . All Filtoclears are supplied with 5m of mains cable and a 2 year guarantee, which can be increased to 3 years by sending off the guarantee card to Oase. Also included are 4 hosetails, one each for the in, out and discharge hoses and one for the other end of the discharge hose

New for 2026 these two large additions to the Filtoclear range will filter much large ponds. Each filter has 6 connections, two inlets and two outlets, the waste connection and drain. By offering two inlets and outlets the circulation in the pond can be hugely improved allowing two pumps to be in different locations and the two return hoses can come back to different points in the pond. If you do not need all of these connections, they can be simply capped off. Much higher power UV ensures the algae is flocculated as it passes around the lamps. Along with the other Filtoclear range the quartz sleeve does not need to be removed when changing the lamp. They have the familiar Filtoclear technology with shaped foams in columns but unlike the smaller versions that have a single column of foam these have four columns which surround the central exit tube. Each column has 4 different grades of foam, instead of 3, which helps to optimise the catching of waste. The four columns can be cleaned independently, meaning you do not need to clean all of the filter at the same time. The design includes a pollution indicator which signals when cleaning is required. The drain hole at the base of the tank can be used to help empty the contents from time to time, it is supplied with a blanking cap but a Ball Valve and hosetail kit are available as an accessory. All FiltoClears are supplied with 5m of mains cable and a 2 year guarantee, which can be increased to 3 years by sending off the guarantee card to Oase. Also included are 5 x 50mm hosetails, one each for the in, out and one for the waste outlet.
