Pontec MultiClear Pond Filters are compact flow-through pond filters with integrated UV clarifiers, designed for small to medium garden ponds. These combined filtration units provide mechanical and biological filtration alongside ultraviolet clarification to help maintain clear and healthy pond water.

The MultiClear range uses verticle layered filter media to trap debris and support beneficial bacteria, while the built-in UV clarifier helps reduce green water caused by suspended algae. With the outlet positioned near the top of the unit, the filter can be partially buried for discreet installation beside the pond.

The range includes the MultiClear 5000 and MultiClear 8000 models, both supplied as compact combined filtration units. Each model includes layered mechanical and biological media along with an integrated UV clarifier sized to match the intended pond volume.

The MultiClear 5000 includes an 11 watt UV clarifier and is designed for smaller ornamental ponds. The MultiClear 8000 increases UV output to 14 watts and offers a larger pond capacity while maintaining the same compact footprint.

When selecting the correct model, consider pond size, fish stock levels and sunlight exposure. Heavily stocked ponds or those in full sun typically benefit from selecting the larger model for improved filtration performance.
