Blagdon Minipond and Midipond Pond Filters
Minipond and Midipond filters are box filter systems designed to provide ultraviolet, mechanical and biological filtration for garden ponds. This range is intended to help manage green water algae, remove suspended waste and support clearer, healthier pond conditions.
Across the range, these filters use multi-stage filtration with foam media, ceramic biological media, a replaceable polymer wool pad and carbon impregnated foam. Features such as the venturi aeration chamber, Hydroscreen stainless steel prefilter, higher flow rates and multiple outlet connections are model dependent and apply to the Midipond models rather than the full range.
Blagdon Minipond and Midipond Pond Filters Filters
- Multi-stage filtration to help manage green water, dirt particles and fish waste
- Range includes compact models for smaller goldfish ponds and larger models for higher-flow installations
- Partially buryable design helps reduce visual impact around the pond
- All models are supplied with 5m of cable and a 3 year guarantee
The Minipond 9000 and 12000 are compact box filters for smaller goldfish ponds, using UV clarification, foam filtration and biological media with a single outlet connection.
The Midipond 20000 and 28000 are larger models designed for higher flow rates. These models include a venturi aeration chamber and Hydroscreen stainless steel prefilter, along with multiple outlet connections to support increased water movement and easier debris handling.
When selecting a model, consider pond size, depth, fish load and sun exposure. Smaller ponds may be suited to the Minipond models, while larger or more heavily stocked ponds will benefit from the higher capacity and additional features found in the Midipond range.
