Does the job, works perfect around the edge of the pond

Bought these for our small raised pond after 2 heron attacks. They fitted together easily and we have placed them around the edge of the pond only. Due to its steep sides and raised position our pond isn't ideal for a heron. But if we do have any further issues we will add a further inner ring of netfloat. If you have a pond that the heron can easily access you would probably need to add a further ring of netfloat to prevent access to the fish.
Overall we are very happy and feel confident the rings will do the trick. We would rather not have any sort of 'cover' over the pond in the summer, so these are a good solution. Obviously you can see them. But the sit on the water and are fairly inobtrusive.

Had some cheaper floating heron protectors which after a couple of weeks failed to continue floating and went in the bin. These are much better. Albeit no cheap!
