this is the hose you need with the correct diameter to fit water butts etc. most online is 25mm which is too small.

Product as described, bought to connect a waterbutt with the downpipe, as the hose that came with the butt was too short. Other hosepipes that I found advertised on the internet were too narrow, this worked perfectly. I bought one metre, the company sent longer than that, which I appreciated as my first cut into the hose was in the wrong place! Luckily enough was left on the other side of that first cut to do the job.

If you have a Ward water butt and find that the provided 500mm hose supplied with the downpipe diverter is too short for your requirements, then this is the perfect product to replace it with a longer hose. (Other widely-available hoses like "pond hose" just aren't made in this size, so are of no use.) I only found this product after a long 'google search'.
Ordered one morning, delivered the next morning - and on the cheapest postal rate - can't say better than that!

Very satisfied with purchase. The main advantage for me was the fact that the hose was available in varying lengths which allowed me to move a water butt and re-connect without having a joint piece along the run. Nice tidy job with no leaks. Thanks.
