The Pontec PondoVario Fountain Pump Sets are cost effective fountain pumps in a range of sizes. They are simple, compact and easy to use and control. All the PondoVario pumps are housed within a robust strainer cage which have fine slots suitable for wildlife ponds and fountain heads with small holes, however on the 1500 - 3500 models, these are in the form of removable panels which cover larger slots which if removed can reduce cleaning when feeding a fountain or feature which can handle larger particles. Each pump is supplied with a telescopic fountain tube with a flow controller and 4 fountain heads. The 1500 - 3500 sizes also include a T piece allowing the water flow to the fountain and a hose connection, both being independently adjustable.

All models come with a 10m mains cable, internal thermal protection, a stepped hosetail which takes 12, 20 and 25mm hose and 3 year guarantee.

What is Effective Volume ?
The effective volume is the quantity of water in your pond, plus an allowance for shallow and or ponds exposed to high levels of sunlight. Both of these situations will result in a higher than normal algae growth, and fish pollution. We advise that to ensure your that your equipment is correctly sized, the effective volume be considered the minimum size for the equipment you select. However do remember to check the details of the product you are interested in, to ensure that there are no other allowances or consideration specific to that product are required.
