Many people struggle to create shade in their pond either because of fish activity, pests or moving/spraying water, but these floating plant will not be affected by any of these problems. The Velda Yellow Artificial Water Lily will survive the British winter. Use them as singles or in groups to create pond cover giving shade for the fish and cutting light out to reduce the growth of algae. They may also help your fish hide from predators.

The Velda - Yellow Artificial Water Lily is made from a soft durable and weather resistant foam and plastic materials, these 17cm wide artificial red water lily's offer a great alternative or addition to fresh pond plants. By introducing Artificial Pond Plants any pond can benefit from the visual impact they produce as well as the beneficial shading they produce.

These plants can simply be rinsed and then placed in your pond, either as singles or in groups. Each artificial lily has a loop underneath which could be used with a length of nylon wire/string (not supplied) to secure the lily in place or to group multiples together.
